A Friendly Reminder to Windows Users to Run Your Critical Updates
Ars Technica hurriedly reminds us Windows folks to patch our systems due to an exploit in Internet Explorer that can allow malicious code to be executed from certain booby-trapped websites. You could also stay away from risky sites and stop using Internet Explorer, but hey — who am I to judge?
Windows XP users can head to update.microsoft.com and Windows Vista/7 users can run updates by clicking on Start and typing (and then clicking on) Windows Update.
